and what this site isn’t.
Blog: (Internet) A website that allows users to reflect, share opinions, and discuss various topics in the form of an online journal, sometimes letting readers comment on their posts. Most blogs are written in a slightly informal tone (personal journals, news, businesses, etc (source – Wiktionary)
This site, Patterns of Thought (PoT), is a blog. It is where I discuss writing, share resources, talk about my Works in Progress (WiP), and my Real Life. In the past five years or so, I’ve drifted away from the blogging and hung out at Facebook. I’m at the point now that I want to come back to this format. Easier to vent my spleen, brag, complain, rejoice, all that comes with being a Writer and living a Real Life.
The main site, Piece of Mind (formerly They’re Just Words), is all about my books. A little about my other published work, too, but its main function is book and author promotion and marketing. It is completely WordPress pages and the comments are turned off.
This one, however, is more about my opinionated self. It will be mostly posts with the comments on. Moderated comments.
See the difference? No, well, not my fault. I ‘splained it the best I could.
